Combining his 27 years of professional financial planning practice, Michael serves as the Advanced Markets Director for Capital Strategies, focusing on complex planning solutions. With his passion for education, Michael also focuses on providing world-class financial advice to clients and fellow financial professionals. As Director of the Capital Solutions Group*, a division of Capital Strategies, Michael’s responsibilities include developing and overseeing the Capital Strategies financial planning department and associated specialists in coordination with Capital Strategies growth initiatives. Michael and his wife Jill reside in northwest Austin and have four adult daughters with whom they enjoy spending time.

The client’s financial goals may include preparing for milestone life events like retirement or college, protecting their family’s future, or simply seeking insurance protection. Travis brings an elevated level of attention, insight, and capability. After analyzing the current financial situation, he helps identify financial goals and barriers, illustrates a plan of action to pursue goals and deal with concerns, identifies gaps, and offers solutions to help fill them through various Financial Planning Strategies. A University of Texas graduate, Travis enjoys everything outdoors with his wife and children.

In addition to running his own practice, Jordan assists other advisors in implementing, growing, and improving their financial planning practices. When offering investment advisory services, he acts in a fiduciary capacity which is the legal obligation to put the client first. However, Jordan’s moral compass always points to him to do what’s right for all clients. In his free time, Jordan hunts, spends time with family and friends, looks for his lost golf balls, cheers on his beloved Aggies and Dallas Cowboys, learns new skills, and spends time with his dog, Buddy.

Preparing for that next step in life isn’t always easy. Scott’s combination of experience, professionalism, and access to various products and services can help clients meet financial goals, plan estate strategies, and determine insurance needs. A Trinity University grad with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Scott is married with two sons. He is a third-degree martial artist, teacher, and state amateur competitor. He is also a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, San Antonio chapter.

Joe has 48 years of professional practice which focuses on Business Owners, Qualified Retirement Plans, Non-Qualified Executive Benefit Plans, Business Continuation, and Income Maximization Strategies. A lifelong member of South Texas, Joe’s roots are deep. With an extensive amount of experience, designations, memberships, and published articles, Joe brings his vast financial knowledge to help clients and fellow financial professionals. Joe has been married to Debbie for nearly 50 years and enjoys time with his wife, daughter, and grandsons.

Carmen has worked in the insurance industry for 32 years in various managerial and administrative roles. Her extensive customer service skills and product knowledge are indispensable to support the team members of the Capital Solutions Group*, a division of Capital Strategies. She is committed to handling all requests promptly and efficiently. Carmen and David, her husband of 35 years, enjoy working on home improvement projects and hiking to explore state and national parks.

Ryan is committed to helping clients protect their assets and achieve financial goals. With a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from UT Austin, he was an educator, teaching economics, and government, and coaching high school basketball for nine years. His “previous life” vocation provides a level of understanding that connects with clients. Ryan is approved in fee-based financial planning and E-money. Ryan is also FINRA registered with series 6, 63, and 65 and is an Investment Advisor Representative.

Ryan joins the Capital Strategies team with over 16 years of experience in the financial services industry. At Invesco / Oppenheimer Funds, he managed Independents, registered investment advisors, and wire houses. His education and experiences allow him to wholistically analyze the client’s financials and construct an investment plan to achieve the client’s financial goals. He is a CFA® Charterholder, a Chartered Alternative Investment Specialist, and a CFA Institute and CFA Society of Dallas/Ft Worth member.

Ryan is responsible for developing a robust wealth management platform with multiple options that will enable our financial professionals to better serve their clients and prospects. He is committed to serving the Capital Strategies Financial Professionals by participating in client and prospect meetings to offer his knowledge of the economy and investment strategies. He brings to the meeting an understanding of behavioral finance which allows him to better communicate and understand the client and their concerns.

When he is not helping people with their financial future, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Allie, and his young son, Leighton, and together they are excited to welcome baby boy number two in the fall. He also enjoys golfing, hunting, and fishing.
